Davido’s sister, Tiwa Savage, as he referred to her during a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, addressed the dispute involving the iconic Miss Kelekele that gained attention in early 2024. The conflict began after Tiwa Savage posted a photo on social media with Sophia Momodu, Davido’s first baby mama. This led to Davido allegedly sending threatening messages to Tiwa, warning her to be “careful in Lagos.” Tiwa later reported the incident to the Commissioner of Police.
In response, Tiwa’s ex-husband, Teebillz, at the time, threatened to take action against Davido. However, during his Breakfast Club interview, Davido downplayed the situation, describing it as a minor disagreement, akin to a sibling fight. He stressed that Tiwa is like a “sister for life” to him, emphasizing their close relationship, which included having lived together in the past.
Davido reassured the public that there was no serious conflict, mentioning that Tiwa had reached out to him. He vowed to protect her, asserting that he would never allow any harm to come to her. He also praised Tiwa for her contributions to the music industry, particularly in empowering women, and reaffirmed their bond as a brother and sister related. “We are family, and I love her and her child,” Davido said, assuring that any future meeting between them would happen naturally.”
