Eedris Abdulkareem challenges Tinubu’s government in a letter posted openly on his Instagram page. He accuses the administration of being insensitive, vindictive, and maleficent. In his letter, Abdulkareem claims the government is suppressing truth and constructive criticism, portraying it as an attack on Nigeria’s conscience.
The Nigerian rapper, known for his bold political stance, declared that just under two years into Tinubu’s presidency, the administration has delivered “frighteningly abysmal” results. He pointed out that the country’s situation continues to worsen across various sectors. He emphasized that the government’s failure is clear to Nigerians across all divides—religious, tribal, and political. However, a small group of individuals, according to him, are “grovelling for crumbs from their paymaster’s table.”
The letter comes shortly after the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) banned the OG’s latest track, which continues to make waves on social media. The song criticizes the current political situation and resonates with many Nigerians, but the censorship has only intensified Eedris’s criticism of the government.

Eedris Abdulkareem says a directive told media houses to hide government failures and pretend everything is fine.
He believes this is part of ongoing censorship, similar to when the government banned his song Jaga Jaga years ago.
He ends his letter calling for honesty and accountability from leaders and encourages Nigerians to keep speaking the truth.
Quoting, “The conscience is an open wound, only the truth can heal it,” he signs off with “Aluta Continua.”
Abdulkareem remains a strong voice in Nigerian politics, always challenging the powerful and standing up for the people.
